Honestly, I couldn't find out exactly what this fine example of ambient marketing was trying to publicize - I'll just presume it's a night club and go on.
As the name suggest, an ambient marketing operation is a campaign that uses already existing ordinary infrastructures and interwines them with something unexpected to convey a message.
The ordinary object is immediately noticed since it's in a completely different contest - the best ambient marketing campaigns (like this one, even if I have no idea what it's promoting) also try to be coherent with the ambient to create a sort of "fourth wall" effect! www.tips-fb.com

Nothing much to say about this internet-famed short video - it's of the ideal lenght, ideal naughtyness/cleanliness ratio and with high production values. It practically screams "share" on something like 200.000 facebook walls - a nice, and most of all, succesfull, example of viral video!

Donate your clothes...right now!

Very clever initiative for a social campaign meant to remind the importance of donating some of your stuff (like, ALL the clothes you're wearing) to people who are more in need of them.

The creative minds behind this campaign asked themeselves: where can we find people who are willing to donate their clothes? The answer was clear: a nude beach!

An entire beach was converted in a space reserved for everybody who wanted to take of all of their clothes and give them away on the spot - a nice engagement experiment that with the right media seeding strategy will probably get all the attentiont it deserves...the buzz (at least from its daring participants!), it's almost guaranteed. www.tips-fb.com

Funny viral starring model\actress Jessica Jane Clement and a clueless idiot - even if it gets predictable in the end, the episodic nature of this online piece of advertising (his video contains all the sketches aggregated) is perfectly compatibile with the viral strategy: you see the first, you see the others in the "related" column on youtube, you get curious, you sign up at the channel, you wait for the next one...and so on!

At last year S-EXPO (a fair with a quite explicit theme) when every brand used the same old tired formula of conventional stands and image girls to promote their new products, Durex chose to create an original installation: a bedroom that was totally destroyed after someone had sex in there using Durex Play-O, a stimulant gel.

Here's a funny campaign that shows a series of sexy pin up in tipical calendar poses - the difference between this and the rest of the calendars is that these are real, actual x-rays photos of the girls!

This campaign is meant to promote Eizo's x-rays machinery, and with a clever media seeding strategy  (made possibile by the mild AND kinky nature of the images) it obtained a great coverage on the web - last week it was very, very frequent to open a blog or a newspaper website and find some skeleton in a dirty pose...everything with costs close to zero for Eizo.

Interesting choice of positioning for Durex - instead of scaring its (mostly) young audience with the threat of sexually transmitted disease to sell its product, it choses an unusual "menace": unvwanted pregnancy!

The idea is simple, even if not totally politically correct: are you a young boy who still wants to have fun? Then you definitely DON'T want a baby now. And to prove it, you can download the iPhone APP presented in this funny "educational" video!



The unprotected sex between the iPhones gets both of them pregnant (???) and then you can experience first hand all the problems that a baby can give - fully integrated with all the functionality of the iPhone (video, audio, even touch-based), this nuisance of an application always reminds you of Durex everytime you close it, steadiliy incresing its "top of the mind" status in the condom market! www.tips-fb.com
